The Royal Shakespeare Company has announced a new production of Macbeth, running at the Other Place in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Directed by Daniel Raggett, the production marks his return to the RSC following his staging of Edward II at the Swan Theatre earlier this year.

Sam Heughan will make his RSC debut in the title role, while Lia Williams will play Lady Macbeth.

The creative team includes Anna Reid as set and costume designer, Ryan Day as lighting designer, Tingying Dong as sound designer, and Rebecca Latham as dramaturg. Charlotte Sutton CDG serves as casting director, with further team members to be announced.

Tickets are priced between £25 and £47, with the show playing from 9 October to 6 December.
