First look into the rehearsal room for Hamilton in the West End

The producers of Lin-Manuel Miranda's Hamilton have released a behind the scenes video from the first day of rehearsals, ahead of the show's West End transfer.

The hip-hop musical opened off-Broadway in 2015, before transferring to Broadway the same year. The show tells the story of founding father Alexander Hamilton and won 11 Tony Awards and a Pulitzer Prize.

The show opens on 21 December, with previews beginning on 6 December, and is currently booking to 30 June 2018.

The West End cast includes Jamael Westman as Alexander Hamilton alongside Michael Jibson, Christine Allado , Rachelle Ann Go, Tarinn Callender, Rachel John, Jason Pennycooke, Cleve September, Giles Terera, Miriam-Teak Lee and Obioma Ugoala.

Hamilton opens at the Victoria Palace Theatre on 21 December, with previews on 6 December.
